    How to Create a Business Model Canvas 

    The Business Model Canvas is a tool that allows you to structure your business in a way that is easily adaptable. The following categories are the building blocks of the Business Model Canvas and are listed in the appropriate order to follow when filling out the BMC 

             1. Customer Segments: An organization serves one or several customer segments. 
                          a) How are they integrated with the rest of our business model? 
                          b) How costly are they? 

              2. Value Propositions: It seeks to solve customer problems and satisfy customer needs. 
                          a) What value do we deliver to customers? 
                          b) Which one of our customer's problems are we trying to solve?
                         
              3. Channels: How the value proposition is delivered to customers.
                          a) How do we raise awareness about our company's products and services? 
                          b) How do we allow customers to purchase specific products and services? 
                          c) How do we provide post-purchase customer support?

              4. Customer Relationships: How customer relationships are established and maintained.
                          a) Who are our most important customers? 
                          b) For whom are we creating value? 
                          c) What type of relationship does our customer segment expect us to establish and maintain with them?

              5. Revenue Streams: A result from the value proposition successfully offered to customers.
                          a) For what value are our customers really willing to pay?
                          b) How would they prefer to pay? 

              6. Key Resources: The resources used to offer and deliver our products/services.
                          a) What resources does our value proposition require?
                          b) What are we using as a distribution method? 

              7. Key Activities: The steps taken to create and deliver our products/services?
                          a) Which key activities does our value proposition require?
                          b) Distribution channels? Customer relationships? Revenue streams?

              8. Key Partnerships: 
    The people and companies who have helped you along the way.
                          a) Who are our key partners?
                          b) Who are our key suppliers? 
                          c) Which key resources/activities are our partners supplying/performing?
     
              9. Cost Structure 
                          a) What are the most important costs inherent to our business model? 
                          b) Which key resources/activities are most expensive?
