I'm a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Argentina. Traveling, exchanging cultures, and learning foreign languages have helped me perform for different audiences around the world. This experience has made me want to start producing and writing my own music.

More about me |
Franco Caramelino is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Argentina: I am currently double-majoring in Global Management and International Relations with a minor in French. The reason why I decided to combine college experience with art is because I believe that my studies will have a positive impact on music. I grew up in a family primarily speaking Italian, then we learned Spanish and later English. My cousins were all in a band and I couldn't help it so I joined them. Later, I found myself in a pop rock band singing different genres and performing live at the age of 10. I was always singing at school events until I grew older and started performing in bars. Once fully of age, I sang in clubs and later on I went on tour with my band. I gained a lot of experience just traveling in my country and singing for different crowds who would listen to both Spanish and English music. After a couple of years of studying translation and working for two schools as a student ambassador for international students, I had the opportunity to come to the United States. I was invited to perform in some majors cities such as New York City, Houston, Detroit, Miami, Chicago and Washington DC. The organization that selected me was aware of my tourist status and therefore could not pay me, making what I did not lucrative. Regardless, I cared about what was enriching my knowledge and expanding my horizons.
