Having a profile is not required, but you will need one in order to sell products or services.
Does it cost money to create a profile?
No! It is free for all users, but it does cost to have an advertising membership. See below.
How do I Join the Market?
The "Join the Market" tab is used to post events, job postings, and your products or services. Each submission is approved by management before being posted to the live website. Do you have something you want to submit? Click on the "Join the Market" tab and enter the required information.
Do I need to pay taxes as an individual?

What are the memberships?
Memberships are a way for businesses to sponsor opportunities and to advertise. Local businesses can purchase an annual membership for Maple Tree Marketplace that gives access via the web page and through video monitors (Happy Boards) that are located across the Simpson College campus.
What is the price of a membership?
An annual membership costs $300.
As a student do I need a membership?
How do I promote my business on Simpson’s campus?
To be able to advertise you must submit your information on the "Join the Market" tab to be reviewed by our staff. If it is approved, then your advertisement will be posted on the explore page and on the Happy Boards monitors.
Is this site reliable?
Every transaction requires trust, it is important to accurately and fairly represent yourself on Maple Tree Marketplace. Acts of fraud or deception are not tolerated and will be removed from the site.
